La Datcha is high above San Vicente del Raspeig, a traditional Spanish town with almost 50,000 inhabitants and one of the best Universities in Spain. 99% Spanish, you won’t find any “fish n chip” shops here (thankfully).

It is only 15 minutes from Alicante airport, 20 minutes away from cosmopolitan Alicante where there is a busy Marina, a great beach and stylish shops. Also 20 minutes away from El Campello and San Juan, popular places to visit for the beaches and more bars and restaurants, and the tram service along a lovely coastal route. La Datcha is an ideal base from which to explore this picturesque region.

8 golf courses within an hour of La Datcha, all bookable if advance. My favourite is Alenda, with very long par 5’s and amazing dog leg par 4’s set on a hillside.
